Why Are We Here?

Isn’t that the million dollar question? As I ‘ve stated before I believe we are spiritual beings having a human experience. With that being said, I think we are here to learn, to evolve as soul; that Earth is more of a school where we are tested and challenged to grow. I think our lesson is three-fold: We come here to find our faith, find our purpose, and understand our karmic lesson. Read More
The Reading Room: The Book of Awakening – Mark Nepo
The Book of Awakening was given to me as a gift at the just the perfect time as it is what I am currently reading as I begin this blog.
The title and subtitle alone are deeply profound and convey the internal process/work I’ve been tending to for years. Mark Nepo gives meaningful insights in small doses , but with so much depth. Happy Birthday!: A Dedication
Five years ago, to the day, I decided to follow my muse. Since then, everything has led up to creating this blog. So, today I officially launch Destination Enlightenment as a reminder of that day, which also happens to be my dear husband Ryan’s birthday!
I’d like to dedicate this website to him because without his quiet support I don’t know if I would have had the courage to put myself out there. If you read this blog long enough you’ll come to understand that my message is to be authentic; to be true to yourself. If you can do this, you’ll connect with spirit and help liberate yourself from ego; live a more integrated spiritual/physical existence. Read More
