To me this song is about surrender. We are given free will and autonomy of our lives, yet I believe that at some point we come to realize that even with all of this free-will we still can’t control everything. And when the struggle finally becomes too much we come to our knees in surrender looking to connect with our faith, to God – to something greater than ourselves to help guide us along because we realize we are not the ultimate authority.
