Today is my 40th birthday! My husband has arranged for a glider ride for me today! I think a new experience is a great way to celebrate a milestone birthday. As a matter of fact, I think this birthday suits me quite well. I’ve always been told that even when I was a child I was very mature, an old soul. When I was young I didn’t like being a child because I didn’t think children got much respect. So I suppose I’ve lived long enough now for my inside to match my outside. In celebration of 40 years on this planet, I am dedicating this song to myself 🙂
This is just one of those songs that makes me feel like I want to get up and dance. For me, Uptown Funk is about feeling on top of your game even if for just one night. Everybody should feel this good at least once in their lifetime. I always enjoy Bruno Mars – he is such a natural performer.
